You need to register before you can vote.

How to register to vote:
Once you have decided who to vote for, you need to register. Once you have registered, your unique Voter Identification Number (VIN) will be sent to your email address.

  1. Go to the Bham UKYP Election 2008: www.bgfl.org/vote2008
  2. Click on “Register to Vote”: In the left hand Resources box You will see a box entitled “Get Your Voter Identification Number”
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Click the “Submit” button. You will then see a “Thank you for registering with us” message. Your VIN will be sent to your email address.
  5. Check your email account: The email is normally sent immediately, but if there are many people registering, it may take a little longer. The email you receive will include your VIN, a link to the online Election and the number of votes you can cast.

Please note: The automated email we send which includes your VIN may be blocked by your email account/spam settings, so please check your spam folder if you have registered but have not received your VIN. Alternatively, you could give appropriate permission to receive emails from content@bgfl.org.
